In this role, you will:
· Provide insurance support, education and guidance to clients, prospects and Relationship Managers
· Assess client need, experience, expectations and risk tolerance
· Deliver CIO market updates and house views on timely basis and provide clear tactical strategy to Relationship Managers to enhance their functional competencies professionalism. Develop comprehensive insurance strategy and asset allocation appropriate to clients.
· Coordinate execution of insurance strategy with appropriate products and services
· Monitor client portfolios for performance, appropriateness and opportunity
· Provide updates on insurance insights to clients / prospects and Relationship Managers.
· Provide input and support for the development of new business initiatives and product enhancement
· Identify and communicate issues or limitations related to product, platform, operations, systems or pricing
· Maintain current knowledge of competitor insurance capabilities, product offering and pricing policies
· Ensure integrity of sales process and compliance with all HSBC and regulatory policies
· Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
· Other project or initiatives or role transfer assigned by line manager
· I hereby promise, that I'll abide by the laws and regulations related to insurance agency sales, and will not solicit any insurance policy holder to surrender his/her policies, which might harm the interest of the policy holder, upon my leaving the company or upon the termination of the agency business of the bank with relevant insurance companies.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Master Degree or CFA, Minimum 10 years' experience as Insurance Counsellor or Relationship Manager experience in foreign banks related to insurance business
· Record excellent sales results on investment business, experience in portfolio management, brokerage or institutional sales
· Extensive knowledge of private banking business onshore and/or offshore
· Client focused, with strong sales, analytic, technical, teamwork and relationship building skills
· Strong negotiation, complex problem resolution, communication and presentation written and oral skills
· Sound judgement, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity
· Able to work under pressure as a good team player
· Fluent in English writing and speaking is a plus
