Repwest Insurance Company is offering a great opportunity for an Insurance Support Specialist with commercial lines agency and/or carrier experience. Under the direction of the Manager of Marketing and Underwriting, the Insurance Support Specialist will manage, and review policies issued while working within underwriting guidelines. Applicants should be comfortable with auto liability and GL coverage and policies. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, and able to multitask handling multiple lines of insurance. Applicants with Property & Casualty, General Liability or Self Storage experience will do very well.
Responsibilities :
+ Review and submit P&C Applications to partnered brokers and agencies
+ Issue new P&C business and P&C renewals for customers; process P&C policy endorsements and policy payments
+ Take incoming/make outgoing calls to/from customers and affiliates regarding policies on Repwest Business lines
+ Review new surety bond requests and issue as needed
+ Research and renew existing surety bonds as needed
+ Issue and coordinate insurance certificates as requested
+ Confirm or update DMV coverage and issue auto ID cards
+ Other duties as assigned
Education/Training Requirements:
+ 1+ years in Agency/Broker or Insurance carrier experience preferred
+ P&C Producer License required or ability to get one within 60 days
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Excel
+ Salesforce CRM experience preferred
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Self-Storage Industry knowledge is a plus
