Intake Associate
SPARKS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Learn Behavioral. SPARKS provide individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum with a range of services from infancy through adulthood, as well as comprehensive training and support for parents and families in their home and communities. SPARKS is currently seeking an extraordinary individual to add to our team. As the first point of contact for SPARKS, you represent the passion, expertise and empathy that are the hallmarks of our services and help families through the process of beginning the services they need. This position is ideal for a thoughtful, compassionate problem-solver who enjoys talking to people. The Intake Associate position is a direct report to the Clinical Director and is responsible for managing multiple tasks in a busy, high-volume office. + Serve as the point of contact for new client referrals and guide families through the intake process and beginning services + Identify key information for each potential new client and work closely with Authorizations Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Clinical Directors to determine availability of services + Obtain benefits and eligibility information by contacting the funding source/insurance company and help the family understand their plan details + Work closely with the authorizations coordinator who will assist the client in the insurance approval process + Enter all referral and new client information into our Central Reach Database + General office duties, including maintaining supply inventories, mail and fax distribution, and photocopying + Create, organize and maintain office filing systems and send files to storage facilities, as needed + Assist in preparation for monthly training; create new hire training binders, bags and badges + Process I-9 Form to verify the identity and work eligibility of new employees hired + Responsible for keeping the office tidy and organized, including maintaining office equipment and decorating the area when appropriate + Additional responsibilities as requested by Clinical Director, Supervisors, or other staff + High School Diploma, required + A minimum of 2 years prior administrative experience in an office setting + Excellent upbeat telephone skills and ability to handle multiple incoming phone lines + Excellent customer service skills + Exceptional communication skills + Strong software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) + Ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed + Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through In addition to the most competitive salaries in the area, Learn Behavioral also offers Paid time off (PTO) Learn Behavioral an Equal Opportunity Employer.
