The Intake Coordinator will coordinate the referral, intake, and assessment process for out-patient behavioral health services. The Intake Coordinator collaborates with families and referral sources in order to determine service needs and facilitates appropriate service provisions. In addition, the Intake Coordinator will engage with internal program staff and community partners to increase the visibility and accessibility of services to eligible youth and families. This position reports to the Manager of Behavioral Health.
Candidate qualifications:
Intake Coordinator I: Bachelor’s Degree plus two years’ relevant experience. Intake Coordinator II: Master’s Degree in a social services field; clinical licensure eligible degree strongly preferred. Licensed Intake Coordinator: Master’s Degree plus Illinois clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LCSW). Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and daily access to reliable transportation required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.Job details:
Compensation: Range starts at $43,200 for Intake Coordinator I; $47,200 for Intake Coordinator II; $51,600 for Licensed Intake Coordinator. Clinical licensure: Licensure-eligible Intake Coordinators receive weekly clinical supervision towards licensure, and reimbursement of clinical exam registration fees. Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here). Location: Hybrid (remote/community-based). Therapy provided in person to program participants in the Chicagoland area. Therapists work from home/preferred remote location during occasional telehealth services and between in-person visits. Schedule: Full-time, salaried; general business hours with some flexibility for evening appointments as needed to accommodate client schedules.
