INTAKE/FQC SPECIALIST

Job Description

As a Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for the receiving of all incoming vehicles, collecting the transporters Bill of Lading, identifying potential transportation damage and staging vehicles for inspection at our reconditioning and logistics centers. You will be familiar with the Hgreg inventory and receiving process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Receive incoming vehicles, locates, moves and stages vehiclesCollect and go over the “Bill of Lading” on each vehicle receivedVisual inspect each vehicle and report damage to managementPrepare barcodes, tags and key fobs for vehicles still in transitRemove auction stickers and replace with pre registered barcodesCreate work ordersComplete body estimate on all newly received vehiclesCoordinate with buying/Inventory team to stage OVE vehicles for the auction, arbitration and wholesaleComplete a weekly inventory scan of all vehicles and assist audit team locating any that may be missingUtilize and navigate live documents to track vehicle statusDelete canceled auction vehicles no longer in transit from Pre-ReconOperate and troubleshoot and inventory tracking systems.Daily check-ins with the managerCompliance to company policies and proceduresCompliance to safety requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Two years of work experience, required in an outdoor automotive environmentOne year of receiving and/or inventory experienceHigh school diplomaAbility to be outside and stand for several hoursGeneral automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitudeAbility to differentiate colorsBasic computer proficiency, with ability to operate handheld devicesExcellent customer service skills and attitudeMulti-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to travelAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to work in extreme conditions (weather and terrain)Bilingual skill a plusDriver's license required

SUMMARY


As a Final Quality Control Inspector your primary duty will be to conduct the final quality inspection on
all vehicles before they are sent for sale to the customer. We are looking for someone that is a critical
thinker who is very detail oriented and can work with moderate to little supervision. Utilizing an Hgreg
approved Final inspection form you will check all aspects of the vehicle to ensure it meets with HGreg
standards of reconditioning.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES
● Inspection of vehicles after all assigned reconditioning work has been completed noting any
cosmetic, mechanical issues and ensuring all electrical components are functioning as designed.
● Keep a detailed log of all vehicles that fail the Final Quality Inspection
● Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a vehicle from being front
line ready.
● Maintains work area and workstation in a neat and organized manner.
● Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, as required by
current policies. Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
● Cooperates and assists other personnel in the entire recondition process and other duties as
assigned.
● Operates all computers and printers in a safe and professional manner.
