Job Summary
The position of Intake Specialist is responsible for coordinating intake services, which includes gathering demographic information, providing support and resources depending on appropriateness, and scheduling assessment appointments. A critical element of Josselyn's mission is to ensure that we create a reverberating positive impact on clients and this includes both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
+ Interact with all clients and visitors in a respectful and welcoming manner
+ Schedule appointments based on needs of clients and availability of providers
+ Obtain pertinent information from new clients to begin services
+ Answer 20-25 live/email intake inquiries per day and schedule IMCANS with appropriate staff
+ Distribute Opening Paperwork to New Clients as part of the intake process
+ Provide backup coverage to access team members
+ Uphold HIPAA privacy standards for client data
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 1-2 years of prior experience in mental health
+ Excellent communication skills both written and oral
+ Strong customer service orientation
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
