This is an intake Nurse that will be doing screenings and assessments with the public, and see if they are qualified to donate. Hours of Operation: 7 days a week Shift: 5x8s + Weekend work is a requirement + 5 weekend days per month (one weekend off, one week Sat & Sun, one week just Sat OR Sun, one week Sat & Sun) + Rotation through open/mid/close shifts Nurses in this role are responsible for screening/assessing patients to make sure they are eligible for donation. This company is known for a position that is fast paced, yet dialed back in terms of physical duties. No heavy lifting, no complicated medication dosage calculations, etc! Nurses will be obtaining height, weight, vitals, administering a finger stick to check hematocrit and protein, as well as other basic assessment duties. This team is a VERY tight knit team, consisting of generally 5-8 nurses. No venipuncture required, but love to cross train nurses to gain exposure in other areas within the center!!
