Intake - Starting wage $27.00/hr

The Intake position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the milk and cream Intake area.  This position requires the loading and unloading of trucks and tankers and the completion of the sanitation requirements of the job.  This position is responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner with a close attention to detail when it comes to product quality.  This position must support all business systems (such as QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s) while working in a team environment.  This position may be assigned either an 8 hour shift five days a week or a 12 hour shift on a rotating basis to cover business needs.  This position may be required to work some holidays and weekends.  

Primary Role and Responsibilities

Load and unload bulk trucks and tankersSupply necessary ingredients to 4th floor ProcessingComplete documentation properly such as weight slips and bills of ladingPerform required tests associated with raw materialsResponsible for monitoring and communicating immediately any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, UtilityResponsible for sanitation duties for the Intake area as needed and period sanitation work as assignedProper handling and usage of chemicalsPerform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation processResponsible for conducting and documenting all quality checks as defined to meet Kraft Beaver Dam policies and proceduresResponsible for the Ultra-filtration system including filter changing, operation, sanitation, and period workResponsible for CIP Non-fat dry milk process on the 2nd floorPerforming Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipmentMust follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)Responsible for troubleshooting issues within the intake area and be able to make timely decisions to solve problemsMonitor the security cameras as needed to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam policies and proceduresPerform all observations and trainings timely and as scheduledSupport Plant Quality SystemsPerform all other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager or Utility Intake EmployeeMust pass and obtain the State of Wisconsin Bulk Milk Weigher Sampling LicenseMust pass and obtain State of Wisconsin Milk, Food and Water Analyst CertificationPerform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

Qualifications:

English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, and write

Required to perform job duties efficiently and safelyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds per NIOSH lifting equation and utilize plant approved safe lifting practices for over 50 poundsAbility to work extended hours holiday and extended workweeks to cover the business needsMust have computer skills with knowledge of various software programs to include:  Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervisionMust be adaptable to changeMust have demonstrated decision making skillsMust adhere to all Kraft policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft proceduresMust be able to work in a team environment within the plant and interact professionally with external vendors (haulers/drivers)Must have a full understanding of the process flow of raw materialsMust adhere to all Kraft Policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Heinz ProceduresResponsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP
