Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and passionateMedical Directorto lead our Functional Medicine Clinic, dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of functional, integrative and regenerative medicine, as well as a commitment to improving patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans that address the root causes of health issues.As the Medical Director, you will oversee clinical operations, lead a team of healthcare providers, and collaborate with staff to create a culture of excellence in patient care. In addition to your functional medicine expertise, you will oversee or provide input on our aesthetic medicine services and wellness programs to support a comprehensive approach to patient health and wellbeing. This position requires a balance of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and a patient-focused approach to drive the growth and success of our clinic. This is a FT Hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon. Pay Range$186,061.97 - $251,188.94 ​​​annually (depending on experience)*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Please fill out an application on our company page, linked below, to be considered for this position. https://j.brt.mv/jb.do?reqGK=27745152&refresh=trueBenefits: + Medical, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy, Life, & Disability + 401K- Matching + FSA + Employee Assistance Program + PTO and Company Paid Holidays Key Responsibilities + Clinical Leadership: Lead and supervise all medical staff, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of functional, integrative, and aesthetic medical care. + Patient Care: Provide consultations and treatment plans that emphasize prevention, lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and root-cause approaches to health. + Program Development: Develop and implement clinical programs to support functional medicine services, including wellness programs, aesthetic services, patient education, and ongoing improvements to patient care protocols. + Aesthetic Medicine Oversight: Provide clinical oversight and strategic input for aesthetic medicine services, ensuring they align with the clinic’s holistic approach to health and wellness. + Staff Training and Development: Mentor and train clinic staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff, in functional, integrative, and aesthetic medicine approaches. + Compliance: Ensure all clinical operations comply with state and federal regulations, as well as with best practices in functional, integrative, and aesthetic medicine. + Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes. + Community Engagement: Represent the clinic within the community and build relationships with referral sources, local organizations, and healthcare professionals. + Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest developments in functional, aesthetic, and wellness medicine and lead initiatives to incorporate evidence-based practices into the clinic's offerings. Qualifications + Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. + Licensure: Active medical license in [State] and board certification in a relevant specialty. + Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing medicine, with a focus on functional, integrative, or holistic medicine. Previous leadership or administrative experience is preferred. + Certifications: Additional certifications in functional medicine (e.g., from IFM - Institute for Functional Medicine) or integrative medicine are highly desirable. Training or experience in aesthetic medicine is a plus. + Skills: Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
