WHAT TO EXPECT:
The Machining Operations team have a new opportunity for an Integrate Maintenance Technician.
You will be responsible for driving process improvements and operational efficiencies at the EPMC. This role involves analysing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost, Environmental impact and our teams experience at work.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Analyse manufacturing and production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives Conduct root cause analysis on process inefficiencies and develop corrective actions Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping to reduce cycle time and eliminate waste Train and mentor others to build a culture of continuous improvement Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, score card metrics and regulatory requirements Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure robust execution of improvement projects Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE , TA, cost per maintenance event, and equipment reliability
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Indentured / modern apprenticeship or level 3 qualification in Engineering Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Maintenance or similar role, in a manufacturing setting Have a Lean, Six Sigma certification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.) Excellent leadership and communication skills
