Integrated Marketing Manager

Essential Function:

The Manager of Integrated Marketing serves as support in developing and lead in executing annual and quarterly marketing strategies for key categories and in-season strategies within each promotional window for Sally Beauty. Working closely working with key cross-functional teams, this role will lead development and execution of all supporting initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and fuel conversion.
Combine marketing thought leadership, an understanding of business objectives and strategic direction to support key categories within Sally Beauty. This will require a blend of planning, data and insights analysis, influence and execution skills to turn data points into actionable plans.
This is a hybrid role reporting into the office in Denton Tx on Tuesdays and Weds of each week, working remotely the rest of the work week.

Primary Duties:

Integrated Marketing Responsibilities

Concept and execute Go-To-Market initiatives in support of seasonal campaigns and product launches, in partnership with Integrated Marketing Director.  Develop marketing communication strategy through all consumer omnichannel touch points for seasonal campaigns and key category product launches. Own marketing strategy briefing process for creative development in support of omnichannel campaigns; define objectives, strategy, rationale (reasons to believe) and KPIs for all assigned campaigns. Partner with Marketing Operations team to refine and implement process flow between Integrated Marketing, Marketing Channel Leads, Merchandising and Store Operations teams through collaboration and stakeholder alignment; ensure project/department milestones/goals are met while adhering to predetermined timelines. Execute on-time, on budget and seamless roll out of supporting campaign assets to stores in partnership with Store Marketing lead. Effectively articulate and present monthly/annual strategic initiatives to cross functional team leads and Senior Executives.

Category Marketing Responsibilities 

Lead the relationships between category merchandisers and the Integrated Marketing team for the Color category. Serve as the main liaison between category brand partners and the internal Sally Beauty functions of Merchandising, omnichannel Marketing channels and E-commerce/Marketplace. Serve as the lead Marketing representative at Color Category Merchandising Go-to-Market kick offs and SBUs, translating all business priorities, seasonal campaign promotions and product launches into Go-to-Market strategy integrations. Build and maintain strong relationships with National vendors within the Color merchandising category, in partnership with the correlating Merchandising Category owners.  Spearhead marketing activation across all marketing channels, including physical retail locations and E-commerce/Marketplace platforms.  Be the authority on macro trends within the designated category, including insights/foresight, competitive analysis and competitive landscape analysis.  Facilitate marketing initiatives for the Licensed Colorist on Demand program (LCoD) in partnership with key cross functional LCoD stakeholders and cross functional Marketing partners in support of the Color category.

Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DiB) and SBH Inspires Marketing Support

Ensure relevant and authentic integration of Sally Beauty’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DiB) initiatives throughout seasonal internal and external campaign strategies.  Lead Sally Beauty marketing integration for SBH Inspires, when applicable. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience 5+ years in marketing, integrated and/or category marketing is a plus Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Workfront Strong project management and planning skills Knowledge of current trends in the beauty/retail industry

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
 

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
