Monitors quality improvement metrics, including the reporting and monitoring of NCLEX pass rates. + Coordinates/consults with the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Program and CU Nursing administration regarding any overarching challenges with students, facility, academic program and clinical placements. + INP Coordination + Participates, mentors, and collaborates with other community college partners in the development, teaching, evaluation, and revision of the course Pathway to Professional Nursing' including course outlines, curriculum content and delivery. + Provides ongoing consultation to community partners regarding CU Nursing procedures and policies. + Disseminates INP information to the community at large with a goal of increasing applicant numbers. Serves as a liaison between INP community partners, potential applicants, and CU Nursing. + Coordinates and collaborates with community college partners on the INP Partners committee to guide decision-making. The scope of the INP Partners Committee includes providing recommendations for the development of short- and long-term goals, existing or future curriculum content, public relations or marketing initiatives, and policy and procedures. + Assists new community college partners as they enter an MOU with CU Nursing related to the development of the INP components. This includes creation of information sessions set up and design of course, Pathway to Professional Nursing' development of processes for admission and student selection into program, forms and development of policies needed for program structure. + Participates and collaborates on the development and implementation of an evaluation plan and processes to monitor diversity and student success rates. + Collaborate with relevant faculty, staff, leadership, and community partners to communicate timely and accurate information on student progression and to facilitate the consistent implementation of established policies and procedures. + Participates in the admission, student selection process and decisions with designated representatives of community college and CU Nursing according to established admission criteria. + Participates and coordinates INP student orientation and information sessions prior to transition to CU Nursing. + Identifies barriers to retention and collaborate with INP partners on strategies to improve INP student retention. + Provides oversight, collaboration, and direction to community college partners for establishing student advising sessions to meet the unique needs of INP students. The INP Coordinator must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado. The ideal candidate will have teaching and scholarship experience with the ability to teach across programs. The INP Coordinator serves as dual academic advisor at the community college and CU Nursing to support student needs (appropriate referrals for student support, enrichment, counseling, tutoring, etc.) and functions as a point of contact when situations require escalation. The INP Coordinator addresses student concerns and works collaboratively with course faculty and the Lead Specialty Advisor on an as needed basis. The Lead Specialty Advisor assists students with Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to ensure appropriate student progression and success, ensuring the INP coordinator is kept apprised of the student's program plan.
