Responsibilities You will implement prevention programs and related program management activities for the installation and tenant commands to prevent problematic/destructive behaviors. You will effectively coordinate with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive integrated primary prevention plans. You will advise installation and tenant command leadership on data-informed actions, prevention methodologies, assessment, and prevention training. You will make recommendations to streamline the development of and delivery of primary prevention, and include occupational health, social and organizational psychology, public health, and/or other perspectives in prevention planning. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Skill in applying prevention methods and techniques in order to evaluate, consult, coordinate, and advise on prevention program activities towards the prevention of destructive or problematic behaviors; 2) Ability to direct multiple prevention projects and workgroups in support of the installation and tenant commands and units; 3) Knowledge of and skill in applying program management processes to identify program needs, trends, and performance. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
