Job Description

We are seeking a talented Provisioning/Parts Content Developer/Writer to join our Integrated Project Team. The ideal candidate will receive, organize, and document system specifications, engineering drawings, bill of materials, and vendor data. They will document the physical breakdown of vehicles, assemblies, and subsystems in accordance with military standards and approved customer maintenance concepts.

ResponsibilitiesReceive, organize, and document system specifications, engineering drawings, bill of materials, and vendor data.Document the physical breakdown of the vehicle, assembly, and/or subsystems in accordance with applicable military standards and approved customer maintenance concepts.Document and maintain the parts data in the Logistics Support Analysis Record database.Analyze vehicle system functionality and identify probable failure modes that could impact system performance and safety.Identify and recommend special tools and test equipment that the customer may require to effectively support their vehicles.Write clear, step-by-step maintenance instructions describing how to remove, repair, and replace vehicle system components and assemblies.Analyze electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system functionality to determine the most efficient troubleshooting methodology.Support the development of fault insertion tools and non-destructive faults for use in the validation of troubleshooting procedures.Read and interpret engineering blueprints and subcontractor data.Generate accurate illustration requests to support procedure development.Maintain the configuration and revision of the data in the database as well as all supporting documents.Proactively support and communicate with other Engineering teams and departments.Assist with aftermarket support requests.Plan and track the progress of assigned activities.Attend fit-ups as required.Essential SkillsDegree or diploma in a technical discipline.3 years of relevant experience.Knowledge in the operation, maintenance, and integration of vehicle components and systems.Ability to read blueprints.Experience in creating work instructions or building something using instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a vehicle mechanic or mechanic assistant.Experience in mobile equipment.Engineering degree or diploma.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
