Contributions
As an Integration Architect, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience building APIs and microservices with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and implementing complex integrations for data and services. You will act as both technical visionary and be responsible for hands-on delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Develop APIs, micro-services and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions.Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementationsCreate and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individualsLearn and implement technology solutions through multi-platform approaches. (Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, etc.)Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendationsUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsIdentify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team membersEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members. Required:
Ability to obtain a U.S. government public trust clearance BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience8 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)8 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket8 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages8 Years of Experience with one or more integration technologies, such as MulesoftExperience developing API Management solutions and micro-servicesPreferred:
MS Degree in an IT-related fieldCertifications:AWS Solution Architect Professional Azure Developer Associate MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1 MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1 5 Years of application development experience in an Agile environmentExperience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as KubernetesExperience designing, implementing, and documenting APIsExperience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCIJava Centric experience, specifically around frameworks such as Spring Boot and CamelExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks to test APIs and integrationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skillsAbout steampunk
