As a Steampunk Integration Developer, you will design, develop, evaluate, and modify system interfaces and integrations. You will participate in the testing process through test execution, test script development, test review, and analysis. You should have experience using middleware to integrate a variety of cloud and on-premise systems, including SaaS systems, SQL databases, document storage solutions, and APIs. You will follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.

Contributions Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality integrations built on ESBs and ETL tools based on industry best practices and business needsManage the process of implementing improvements and new integrationsDeliver support and solutions for break/fix issuesCommunicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutionsHandle numerous priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutionsInterface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work productsResearch integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staffResearch and keep current on integration patterns and integration middleware technologiesPerform maintenance and troubleshooting of applicationsBuild client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with clientParticipate and engage in all team meetingsDocument best practices and operational procedures Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with integration developmentHave proven knowledge building ETL & ESB integrations and APIs using integration middlewareHave proven knowledge integrating SaaS systems, SQL databases, flat files, REST APIs, and SOAP APIsEligible to obtain and maintain and government security clearance Possess at least one integration related certificationProficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and related technologies.Familiarity with major enterprise integration frameworks and knowledge of when to use them.

 

 Preferred Skills:

Experience building ETL and platform event integrations with SalesforceMuleSoft Certified Developer I or Salesforce Certified Integration ArchitectAble to align your approach with a solution vision and collaborate with a cross-functional teamExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)Takes initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrates creative thinkingDemonstrates self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quicklyDemonstrates sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsKnowledge and experience with Agile methodologiesKnowledge of cloud-based integration, microservices architecture, and containerization.Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with AWS, Azure and GCP About steampunk
