About this opportunity:
As part of the Ericsson team, you'll play an integral role as an Integration Engineer working with our clients across enterprise systems, networks, and nodes. As a data-driven professional, you'll focus on preparing, implementing and executing test cases to verify the configuration and integration, upgrades, migrations and expansions of an OSS, BSS and Core node/network/system for virtual and cloud solutions.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for adhering to global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS), data security, privacy protocols, and other group, legal and financial directives.
What you will do:
Provide solutions and service delivery to telecommunication operators. Provide Network Design, System Integration, Rollout, Optimization and Consultation of the Network. Include Linux, TCP/IP, Container, Kubernetes, and Virtualization technology to enable monetization capability upon multiple access technology specially 4G and 5G network. You also can work on design and implementation for OSS and core network solutions. Be part of a highly motivated team of engineers, solution architects, Core3 and solution team to increase profitability and drive continuous improvement. Get to work with an outstanding local and distributed team, while interacting closely with our customers. Assist in pre-sales processes with analytics, defining and proposing solutions and strategies for integration, ensuring an efficient commercial engagement. Define integration strategy in line with contracts to provide optimum customer value. Direct scope and quality, estimate costs and time, and plan activities. Prepare, collect and validate scripts and configurations before execution. Initiate and execute test cases, perform troubleshooting, take corrective actions or escalate issues in order to maintain the quality-of-service delivery. Conduct integration and migration tasks complying with process framework and contractual commitments. Guarantee that operating systems, hardware, software, licenses, and configuration data are available in the correct format or version. Define and manage exit criteria and prepare handover documentation. Drive changes to process and methods related to integration activities to boost delivery efficiency and quality. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunication/ Computer Networking or a related field. To have a business level of English Domain knowledge experience is a plus of virtualization, Cloud, BSS, OSS, Circuit and Packet Core. Proven Telecom experience, including at least 3 years with monetization solution, highly preferable experience with OCS or Charging system. Good communication skills and practical experience in speaking publicly to large groups. Demonstrable skills in automation, troubleshooting, and process management. Proficiency in data analytics, in improving service delivery and generating customer insights. Excellent consultative skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and propose value-driven integration solutions. Experience in managing change and driving service improvements in a technological environment. Familiarity with service delivery and business processes in a customer-centric organization. Ability to handle presales activities, including analytics and solution definition. Strong stakeholder management skills to navigate complex project environments and ensure alignment with customer and company goals.Desirable Skills: Certifications related to network or system integration, project management, or any relevant technical fields. Experience in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS) protocols, data security, and privacy compliance.
