Be a part of one of the most talented teams at IGT as an Integration Engineer I and help us deliver exciting and challenging new features. As a member of the Game Platform Engineering team, you will be responsible for helping us deliver new features that enable world-class games on the IGT Ascent platform. The software you will be working on is the beating heart of casino gaming machines, managing everything from metering and configuration to systems interfaces using industry-standard protocols. Because of the wide scope of responsibility for this software system, you will have lots of opportunities to work on new and exciting features as well as help us to improve and modernize existing components.
 

Candidates should be self-motivated, open to learning new technologies as well as sharing their knowledge with others, and always looking for the best technical solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate will be expected troubleshoot engineering issues both hardware and software related.  Since our team sits at the heart of the Ascent platform engineering, candidates should be strong communicators and able to interface and build relationships with people in other departments, including Hardware/Electrical Engineering, Game Studios, Product Assurance, Compliance, Customer Service, Operations, Production, and other Engineering departments.

 

Testing of the Platform Engineering software along with any hardware peripheral devices needed. Troubleshooting of hardware, software and communications, both Ethernet and serial. Attend and participate in technical meetings. Moving and placing slot machines and poker machines (these weigh over 100 lbs) Parts ordering for the lab and platform engineering team. Support of the lab or conduct technical analyses, engineering, or field issues as directed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Time management skills Communication skills Problem-solving skills including hardware and software.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990/yr - $96,845/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
