You are:

You are an experienced Technical Lead for our Enterprise Integration team located in Shelton, CT.  You are an “application integration expert” who will provide leadership and support PB IT’s overall vision. You are the catalyst in the ongoing development and delivery of a modern, maintainable, and automated Integration strategy. As an expert in the field, you should have operating design & deployment experience across multiple platforms such as: IBM’s IDG, AppConnect Enterprise, MQ and custom file transfer platforms. The Enterprise Integration Technical Lead should have a strong system integration technology background. You will effectively build an off-site team to implement and support the Integration technologies.

Preference will be given to this position sitting full-time in Shelton, CT. However, remote-work consideration will be given to highly qualified candidates located in the East Coast.

You will:

Lead complex projects and provide subject matter expertise within both purchased and custom integration tools. Participate in strategic planning and provide recommendations on best practices and program enhancements. Recommend changes in process, policies, and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. Provide project scoping and estimation, design and coding reviews. Provide leadership and technical guidance to the integrations team(s) on design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of integrations. Assist implementation teams including business/project analysts to establish, launch and support standard and customized integration services. Ensure comprehensive integration documentation is maintained for integration team and partners. Provide guidance and ensure adherence on department policies, procedures and standards. Ensure team processes are followed in accordance to all regulations (i.e. SOX, SOC controls, general controls). Provide advice and direction throughout the implementation/delivery process. Collaborate effectively with individuals and teams across entire SDLC process.

Your background:

As a Integration Technical Lead, you have:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related technical degree (Advanced degree preferred). At least 8 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Previous supervisory and integration project delivery experience across multiple concurrent projects. Experience with review, selection and onboarding of team members, particularly in offsite team model. Extensive experience with design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of complex multi-platform integrations. Hands on practical experience with IBM’s IDG, Broker (AppConnect Enterprise and IIB), MQ and MQ appliance, and custom file transfer platforms across a variety of complex and interconnected integrations. Experience delivering integration projects with the following applications:  SAP (ECC, R3, HR, SRM), Sales Force (SFDC), OLFM, CPQ, TSYS, Websphere Commerce Server, Tandem, cloud-based products and API’s. Responsibility to review specifications and other documentation to ensure compliance with defined standards. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with quick turnaround. Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all IT departments as well as business partners. Ability to work with internal and external partners effectively by phone, email, and face-to-face Demonstrated organization, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred

Hands on working experience with the following technologies: MQ appliance admin and integration DataPower XSLT Unix, Linux, Windows, PGP encryption, SSH keys and SSL, SLT, SOAP UI, Toad SQL Relational DBs, SOAP/XML and REST/JSON CI/CD pipeline and experience with automation and use of related tools:  GitLab, Jenkins, Jira MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
