This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will be working directly with flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of reaching the goal of millions of people living and working in space. You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and supporting testing of hardware for various spaceflight systems. This includes supporting production and development related activities that directly affect rocket launch vehicles and spacecraft. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in aerospace or related fieldsExcellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among other team membersAbility to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment and the capability to drill and prepare close tolerance holes for fastener installation is requiredA&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integrationAbility to support Monday through Thursday 1st shift (A shift) 5am – 3:30pm and additional weekend overtime as requested.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Blue Origin will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Washington Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles Fair Chance in Hiring Ordinance, and other applicable laws.Desired:
7+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integrationExperience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardwareFamiliarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc) and pressurized system safetyKnowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools (ProEngineer is preferred), and ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standardCompensation Range for:
