Integrity Engineer (G&P Engineer)

Position Summary: This position will be a dedicated member of the Gathering and Processing (G&P) Pipeline Integrity team, in support of the Pipeline Integrity organization. This role will contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Pipeline Integrity organization’s programs and associated records. Key Responsibilities: , + Support the integration of company pipeline integrity data into the MPLX G&P, GIS data base + Utilize the integrated pipeline data and perform risk modeling of company’s IMP lines using New Century’s QRA modeling program + Analyze the risk modeling results and present the data to G&P management to develop Preventive and Mitigative Measures to minimize our pipeline risks + Support the In-Line Inspection program, as needed, to coordinate and manage pipeline integrity assessments. + Perform analysis of the ILI tool results, integrate the data with other existing data sets, recommend future field investigations and potential pipeline repairs. + Assist in the assessment and analysis of pipe anomalies and repair requirements and procedures + Work with corporate and operation management to ensure consistent, coordinated efforts on policies, procedures, projects and work planning + Utilize Quest Canary vapor dispersion software to determine the effects of pipe leaks to the environment and to maintain regulatory compliance + Maintain and coordinate implementation of pipeline integrity policies, processes and procedures. + Serve as a resource for audit preparation and support. (49 CFR 191, 192, 194 & 195) + Partner with Operations to provide training and knowledge development of company and regulatory requirements. + Generate pipeline metrics and seek to identify problems and opportunities for improving integrity performance and documentation. + Support of Class Location and High Consequence Area analyses + Analyze pipeline regulations and documentation related information and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Experience + Bachelor’s degree in engineering from accredited college or university required + 5 years of relevant experience in pipeline compliance / regulations; or equivalent combination of education and experience + Previous experience working with CFR 192, 194, & 195 regulatory elements as well as industry standards such as B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 preferred + A valid driver's license is required.
