Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney – Tampa or New York
ASSOCIATE – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LITIGATION

Locations: Tampa, FL or New York, NY

Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate to join their Intellectual Property Litigation group. The ideal candidate will have a background in patent litigation and the ability to effectively manage litigation tasks independently.

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Florida, Georgia, California, DC, New Jersey, or New York, as applicable. 2-5 years of substantive patent litigation experience. Experience in Hatch-Waxman/ANDA litigation and other forms of intellectual property litigation or prosecution is a plus. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and practical judgment. USPTO registration number or patent bar eligibility is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day litigation tasks, including preparing court pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and motions. Independently prepare for and potentially handle various aspects of litigation, such as taking and defending depositions. Collaborate effectively with other lawyers and staff within the firm. Engage in strategic litigation practices and provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
