Tool & Technology Research: Conduct independent research to identify and evaluate emerging open source intelligence technologies and tools that improve the collection, processing, and analysis of publicly available information.Pilot & Implementation: Lead pilot projects to assess the applicability and effectiveness of new technologies, identifying potential use cases and areas for improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that selected tools align with operational needs and enhance mission capabilities.Innovation: Develop new strategies for leveraging open source intelligence technologies and mitigating any gaps in current processes.Training Support: Partner with training team to integrate technical criteria into training modules for new tools and technologies.Reporting & Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on emerging technologies for leadership.Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry trends by attending relevant trainings, seminars, and conferences, and maintain relationships across law enforcement, security, and intelligence communities.Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or minimum of 8 years of experience without a degree.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.Expert knowledge of technological processes, databases, and software used in the anonymous collection and exploitation of open source and publicly available information.Knowledge of media platforms, in particular those aligned with cultural, political and security interests as they relate to the U.S. interests, in order to conduct complex open source operations.High proficiency in evaluating emerging technologies and advising on their implementation.Strong understanding of federal regulations related to open source intelligence collection and analysis.Knowledge of Internet based research including advanced search techniques, search engine and database resources, data visualization tools, and Internet sources.Preferred Qualifications:
