INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST- TITLE 32
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is for an Intelligence Operations Specialist, Position Description Number D1659000 located in the 116th OSS Squadron, Robins AFB, GA. This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Air National Guard Membership. Area of Consideration: Open to current members of the Air National Guard, Active Air Force and Air Force Reserve. Responsibilities As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, GS-0132-12, you will: Serve as the unit's expert intelligence analyst for the commander and staff on all intelligence matters, including intelligence processes, support requirements, technical aspects of weapons systems, and terrorist operational methods. Maintain overall responsibility for daily-integrated intelligence support, to include any alert, crisis, and Force Protection situations. Assure the Intelligence function maintains a capability to provide timely and accurate operational intelligence support and fully trained intelligence personnel during peacetime and contingency operations. Plan, develop, and manage work schedules for intelligence activities during all phases of unit operations, including Unit Training Assemblies (UTA), Annual Training (AT), and unit deployments. Assign specific programs and duties to full-time and traditional intelligence personnel in accordance with applicable ANG, MAJCOM and Air Force instructions, and ensures their completion. Manage the collection, production and dissemination of intelligence products in the unit and to higher headquarters and agencies. Project future intelligence data requirements and future threat scenarios based upon intelligence. Research, evaluate, integrate, and analyze all-source data in the preparation of clear, concise, in-depth intelligence analytical products focusing on the threats to air operations, including the operational concepts of military forces and trends with potential military implications (e.g. research and development; production; delivery systems; doctrine; and capabilities) prepared in response to mission requirements. Train, educate, and test aircrew on worldwide threats, to include surface-to-air missile (SAM), air-to-air missile (AAM), anti-aircraft artillery (AAA), and foreign aircraft. Serve as the Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) of the organization and exercises overall oversight of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Specialized Experience: Candidate must have 36 months specialized experience developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports.
