INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST-Title 32
Summary This National Guard position is for a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST-Title 32, Position Description Number D1155000 and is part of the WI JFHQ J2, Wisconsin National Guard. Responsibilities As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST-Title 32, GS-0132-11, you will perform specialized duties and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with operational intelligence. Provides detailed intelligence analysis for mission planning and execution, training exercises, briefings and debriefings for the state Joint Senior staff, subordinate units and members. Serves as a subject matter expert for intelligence systems, order of battle maintenance, mission planning, threat analysis, and Geo-spatial Intelligence and Systems (GI&S) support. In addition, the incumbent performs complex intelligence analysis of economic, geographic, political, military topics and threats that could impact the JFHQ-ST mission success. This position requires a comprehensive working knowledge of intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E-3 through E-9, WO1 through CW5 and O-1 through O-3 Conditions of Employment: - National Guard Membership is required. - Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. - Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. - Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. - May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. - Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. - This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. - Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. - May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. - The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-0132-11 level, applicant must have at least 36 months experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports.
