Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 704TH Military Brigade, 742D Military Battalion, Foundry Detachment, Fort Meade, MD with duty location at Fort Stewart, GA. Responsibilities Serves as the 704th Military Intelligence (MI) Brigade (BDE), 742nd MI Battalion (Bn) Garrison Cryptologic Activity (GCA) Program Senior SIGINT Analyst, within the Foundry Program overseeing the SIGINT operations. Represents Army tactical operational SIGINT readiness training interests at high-level forums, working groups, committees, INSCOM, FORSCOM, and tactical commanders at all echelon levels. Coordinates, collaborates, and recommends input for upgrades, changes, and overall health for the processes of acquisition, logistics, supplies and implementation of new or up to date equipment and systems. Provides administrative and program oversight, advice, and guidance of assigned military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Specialized experience is defined as experience with intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations directly related to Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Operations. Experience in managing organizations to identify emerging requirements related to SIGINT training, systems, personnel, equipment, and policy. Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
