Our Trane Commercial Sales Office is hiring an Intelligent Services Account Engineer for our Southeast Region.

As an Intelligent Services Account Engineer, you will provide exceptional consultative services to our Intelligent Services customers. You will work closely with a Services Account Manager and Remote Support Specialist on each of your assigned accounts to ensure our customers see their buildings as an asset to help reach their goals rather than just another expense to their business. You will analyze utility bills, live energy, and building automation data to determine the most important actions for the client to take to make progress towards their unique goals and validate results for actions previously taken. Your success will lead help us to earn more Trane customers for life and grow our share of the customer’s business.

Where is the Work:

This position has been designated as Remote within the Southeast Geography.

What you will do:    

Facilitate the development and delivery of Intelligent Services consultation reports in a timely and professional manner.Research facilities energy usage and provides interpretation of utility bills to clients.Monitors and analyzes energy consumption and costs, including performance against standards and benchmarks.Monitors assigned contract hours with the goal of maintaining and improving contract margins, reaching applied time goals, and exceeding contractual obligations and customer expectations.Presents compelling technical business case presentations for comprehensive projects as required.Leads sales process when appropriate.Generates numerous leads for assigned accounts, especially Energy Services and Controls.Uses data to help the sales team to quality and quickly close or abandon opportunities.Fully understands Trane’s energy solution offerings and is able to present products and solutions most relevant to the customer’s technical needs.Leads the technical analysis of facilities and their usage to determine creative solutions and savings opportunities.Identifies, develops, estimates, and proposes Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs).Assists with initial opportunity assessments for guaranteed energy savings projects.Support sales team in the acquisition of new Intelligent Services clients.

 

What you will bring:  

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred with 1-3 years of related industry experienceIn lieu of degree, a minimum of 8-10 years of related industry experience required in addition to a High School diplomaStrong familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office products. Mastery in Excel preferredExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and a focus on executionAbility to follow directions and team well with othersMotivated, self-starter who can work independentlyValid Driver’s license with a clean driving record

 

Compensation:     

Base Pay Range: $ 65,000 - $80,000 / annually. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
