The team sees clients who have a history of traumatic experiences and present with PTSD and/or anxiety-related disorders that interfere with the client’s functioning. Unresolved trauma and untreated anxiety can lead to physical health issues, instability, and substance use. Developing coping skills for anxiety and PTSD and addressing and processing traumatic experiences continues to be essential in serving our communities and clients. The position not only serves the Dixon location, but is part of a centralized program serving all MHP clients. The Intensive Trauma & Anxiety Services team and its services are unique to MHP. Are you looking for a smaller case load where you can have a flexible schedule? Do you have experience with DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, ACT and you are looking for a place to grow your therapy skills? Are you within six (6) months from full licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or have your licensed and want to be in a proven trauma program to enhance your experience? Are you interested in using holistic services such as trauma-informed yoga, acupuncture, and massage to supplement clients’ healing?
