INTERACTIVE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ABOUT YOU: As a Jostens Manager, Interactive Learning and Development, you’ll create a human-centered performance ecosystem where our Independent Salesforce and Internal Teammates are valued, engaged, prepared, and motivated to deliver their best work. In this exciting role, you’ll build a holistic learning and development strategy that amplifies a continuous learning environment through forward thinking, innovative, and engaging learning opportunities and communications. Critical to success is elevating engagement, fueling curiosity and empowering continuous growth, while amplifying best practices across Jostens. This position will provide leadership and participation on teams responsible for developing and executing training curriculum, and various training programs such as business unit sales academy; onboarding; regional training sessions; Jostens University; technology school; in field training staff; virtual training programs; and manager and representative certification processes. Preferred general knowledge of Jostens product and services. Preferred product and process knowledge within the school environment. Technical skills. Knowledge of modern work management applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Hands-on content creation experience required incl. presentation templates, icons and graphics, video editing, and instructional guides. Preferred knowledge of Lessonly, Seismic, Salesforce, Adobe, vimeo, vidREACH, and beautiful.ai. Attention to detail. Has the ability to work independently in a remote environment (detail-oriented, balance multiple project/tasks, meet deadlines, and quickly learn new systems). Demonstrated ability & proven track record at defining and managing project priorities and timelines to achieve results. Proven ability to plan and manage work across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis. Innovation. Experience. 5 years of experience in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development; 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity. Experience in sales methodologies and models. Must have 5+ years professional experience in high profile communications and learning/training roles. Preferred experience with fast paced independent salesforce. Preferred 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience. Preferred demonstrated success leading and managing people and processes. Preferred Corporate field training experience. Education. Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Communications, Education, Adult Learning and/or related field required. YOU WILL: Manage. The primary focus is to lead the day-to-day operational responsibilities for learning and development. HELP our TEAMS GROW and TRANSFORM through training and coaching. Lead organizational change (learning and communications) with a strong record of transformational learning, coaching and skill building experiences. Assist. Support key business and sales initiatives and strategies aligning the business unit’s sales force with overall sales strategy, provide primary leadership in the development and overall architecture for subject matter experts and sales rep trainers in the business. These responsibilities also include providing managers with training support for the implementation of the sales strategy. Develop. Lead and develop the communication, learning and engagement strategies and related plans including messaging, interactive content strategy, new approaches for design, development, and delivery, leveraging innovative solutions to engage our independent salesforce and internal teams. Communicate. Deliver high level thought leadership and recognized proficiency in learning and communications to support stakeholder groups across multiple functions. Collaborate to deliver next generation learning and content digital experiences through aligning interaction design, personas, user research, design themes and design standards. Strengthen. A strong focus on designing, developing and delivering innovative and interactive, in person and digital learning programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning strategy on an on-going basis. Establish KPI and completion metrics for new learning programs to measure and monitor, informing process improvements. Leverage best learning practices, standards, and processes to ensure that value is created through development and deployment of work products. Support additional REVENUE ENABLEMENT projects and initiatives. Transform. Operate with a transformation-focused mindset, helping team members to understand how their roles support the larger transformation efforts and supply innovative tactics to support execution. Operate as a strategic leader and business partner who can connect the dots between the functional group strategies. Lead training and faculty of various training programs such as sales academy, regional training sessions, Jostens University, and virtual learning and virtual peer-to-peer learning opportunities. Special focus on consistent consumer focused sales methodologies. TYPICAL/EXPECTED OVERNIGHT TRAVEL: 20% - 30% LOVE WHERE YOU WORK: We care about your health.
