Ecolab is searching for a driven Intercompany Accounting Analyst/Associate Analyst for future opportunities within our Finance division in Pune, India.
Ecolab is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. In this position, you will assist and contribute to mantain Intercompanies transactions to comply with DTP, policies, procedures and deadlines. Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information. Prepare and record journal entries.Being responsible of training Junior Analyst on main RTR process.

What You Will Do:
Manage the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.
Perform intercompany closing activities, like reports, month end adjustments & accruals and reconciliations.
Update various reports with current month-end information
Manage ERP and technologies tools like SAP, HFM, OnBase, etc.
Prepare and enter journal entries into Blackline. Explain, preparer and maintain support documentation.
Preparer account reconciliations. Perform analysis, follow-Up on open Items, maintain support documentation and escalate unreconciled items to the correct level.
Prepare support documentation for audit purpose. (SOX, internal and external) and Participate in the writing, updating and defining Desktop Procedures, Policies and Narratives.
Being responsible to detect and escalate all process and accounting tasks that are not working properly or need to be improved.
Collaborate with Team Leads and Senior analysts in different tasks where they support is required.
Maintain fluid communication with stakeholders and other GBS teams.
Collaborate with Team Leads and Senior analysts in the planning, development, and implementation of projects.
Support Team Leads in preparation of trainings and in the detection of training opportunities.
Assist and train Junior Analysts in their daily work
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance and two to four years experience.
Advanced English level (oral and writing).
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Strong attention to detail, with sensitivity to deadlines.
Result oriented and proactive.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP, Oracle and Power BI will be a plus.
