Summary About the Position: Serves as a Senior Project Manager to work with the control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects under the Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). Responsibilities Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations. Oversee cost and schedule execution of assigned projects within the program. Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations for assigned projects. Provide technical guidance to multi-disciplined staff. Negotiate and integrate all District functions according to the USACE Project Management Business Process, including establish acquisition strategy, project scope and criteria, and manage project milestones/budgets from planning through execution. Experience with program management environmental programs utilizing the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), or Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Partnering Project Management Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
