Responsibilities You will oversee contracted design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, safety standards and programs, and requirements for documentation of records and drawings. You will perform project management for multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution within construction standards. You will participate in discussions with contractor representatives on matters of safety, installations regulations, utility outage coordination, progress of work, or needs of the tenant with respect to work under construction. You will monitor construction activity to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and scheduling. You will enforce provisions (e.g., technical and administrative) of assigned construction contracts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the GS-13 grade level: This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor requires current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (PA) in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your registration with your application to be considered for this position.
