Interface Analyst III

Summary

The Interface Analyst III is a senior-level professional, working under the supervision of the IT Manager, Integration & Customer Services.  They have extensive experience and expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex data interfaces between various software systems, applications and databases.  It is their responsibility for leading and overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex data interfaces within an organization. They collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and ensure the efficient and accurate exchange of data between diverse systems.  They work closely with stakeholders to meet specific business and technical requirements and serves as a strategic departmental Colleague.

 

The Interface Analyst III designs, develops, tests, and implements extremely complex application interfaces utilizing a variety of software packages and tools.  The Interface Analyst III meets with Colleagues throughout the organization to plan and implement complex application interfaces and is a primary vendor contact for complex interface projects.  This position addresses the day-to-day operational requirements of complex integration/interface support including programming, database building/maintenance, capacity planning, and the monitoring of queues, system availability, system utilization, and response time.  Actively participates in the development and on-going evaluation of end user training and in-service programs, as appropriate. They serve as the technical leader in the integration workspace.

 

The Interface Analyst III plays a critical role in shaping an organization's interface strategy, ensuring the seamless flow of data across systems, and providing technical leadership to ensure that interface initiatives align with business objectives.

 

Accountability is measured by performance evaluation, project goal achievement within stated time frame as well as work plan completion.  Work schedule may include hours other than Monday through Friday or regular office hours.  Work schedule includes taking On Call after hours support for the organization as needed.

 

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education:            Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.) – 5 years of related experience may be substituted for some or all education.

 

Preferred Education:            Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.)

 

Minimum Experience:          Eight years of experience in Information Technology; with at least five years of experience in a directly related position.

 

Preferred Experience:           Ten years in Information Technology with at least six years in a directly related position.
