As the Interface Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders involved in our EPC projects. You will be responsible for managing interfaces between different disciplines, teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project delivery. Candidate must have experience in international Companies and Mega Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities will be as follows but may not be limited to
Regularly update the technical department on future project requirements.Responsible for managing the necessary interactions across multiple work streams for major EPC projects providing relevant expertise within the project and, coordination across the various teams for the Project DirectorRepresent the project where appropriate to contractor(s), consulting companies and service providers as appropriate to the needs of the work for all interface requirementsIdentify and define Interfaces at earliest opportunityDevelop an interdependency schedule for the interfacesDevelop an interface coordinators list from engineering, procurement, construction, transport, hook-up and any other organizations which are required for resolution of interfacesStandardize and coordinate procedures between contractorsInitiate regular scheduled technical interface coordination meetings with appropriate participants to discuss the matrix and proposed resolutions. Develop an action list within meeting notes with assigned ownership and due dates supporting project schedule.Define clear roles and responsibilities for each contractor to limit conflictPromote clear communication between contractors as key to successful project deliveryEstablish phone conference calls, regularly scheduled and/or as required, to keep status/progress of developed actions to ensure that all parties involved in the work are properly coordinated, and those interfaces are dealt with in a prompt and efficient mannerDocument according to interface management plan the request and exchange of design documents among contractors and subcontractors that support interface resolutionMaintain the required interface documentation as per interface management planIn-depth understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of all interfaces in the projectHave 10 years’ experience in International Companies and Mega Projects exKey Interactions:
Project ManagementClientQualifications & Years of Experience:
A relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, and a minimum of 15 years as interface manager in EPC projects
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.Ability to establish interface management plan based on contractual requirementsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in project interface management software and tools.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.International Companies and Mega Projects experince
