Interim Enrollment Research Analyst

Posting Summary:
The temporary part-time (up to 19 hrs/week) Enrollment Research Analyst will provide critical support to the Enrollment Research and Strategy Office. This role, designed for 3-6 months with a possibility of extension, is essential to maintaining data integrity, enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring continuity of analytical insights and operational support.
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Research and Strategy, the part-time interim analyst will assist with key data-related responsibilities, ensuring continuity of essential reporting, maintaining automated queries, and assessing integration between the College’s student information systems. This role also supports the evaluation and optimization of Slate (application system) and Banner (student information system) processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Summary/Basic Function:
Data Reporting and Queries:

Run queries, extract data, and compile information from internal and external systems to support enrollment planning efforts. Compile, organize, and translate large volumes of data into precise, actionable reports.

Reports and Dashboards:

Maintain and update existing data sources and queries used in Tableau and Slate reports. - Prepare summary charts, graphs, and other visualizations to meet short-term reporting and evaluation needs.

Database Integration and Maintenance:

Optimize processes for creating and maintaining queries across databases. Assess and improve Slate-to-Banner data integration, ensuring accurate student record transfers.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform additional related duties as assigned to sustain operational continuity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/3 years of relevant experience with formal training in information technology, data analytics, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience of analyzing and reporting data, maintaining queries and database administration. Proficiency with SQL and statistical/programming software packages. Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to a temporary, project-based role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in higher education enrollment analytics. Knowledge of research methods, evaluation techniques, and statistical concepts. Expertise in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for decision-making.

Salary:

$40/hour
