Location: Trinity Health Hospital in Compact State
WEEKS: 13 Weeks with option to extend
HOURS: 40 Hours
Pay: $4375.00 Gross Weekly ($3200.00 Gross weekly plus tax free stipend of $1175.00 if live 60+ miles from facility)
What you will need:
Current Registered Nurse License in Compact StateMinimum of 2 years of OR Management experience.Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor Degree preferred.BLS Certification.ACLS CertificationPOSITION PURPOSEManages the day-to-day operations and upholds clinical practice standards of the Surgical Services Department. Provides positive leadership and problem-solving skills and is responsible for continuous quality improvement, patient satisfaction, budgeting, customer and staff feedback, training and development. Works cooperatively with other departments, the community and professional organizations to ensure quality services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the clinical practice within the department.
Assures safe, effective delivery of clinical services.On a daily basis, demonstrates own presence or involvement in department.Rounds and interacts with physicians, staff, patients, families and customers.Available to problem solve, support and assist the team.Upholds clinical practice standards and guidelines.Explores opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and takes action.Keeps self updated and current with new trends and technology related to clinical specialty, areas of responsibility, leadership and management.Monitors staffing pattern that supports effective clinical services within established budget parameters.Assures operations are responsive to changes in coding, billing and reimbursement.Develops, implements and monitors a Quality Improvement Plan that is reviewed and revised annually or as needed for CQI.Communication/LeadershipTeam DevelopmentBudgetingOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
