Interim Senior Accountant
Job Title: Interim Senior AccountantJob Description The Department of Interentity Shared Services seeks a Sr. Accountant. This individual will oversee financial transactions relating to intercompany transactions between the school and hospital business areas as well as interface with departmental representatives at all levels and senior financial management. Other responsibilities include responding to inquiries from internal and external sources, reviewing accounting transactions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining open communication with departments, affiliated organizations, and auditors. Hard Skills + Working knowledge of applicable laws + GAAP accounting + Regulations for both sponsored and non-sponsored funds + Review and approval of KB15N transfers + Processing intercompany Journal transfers + Monthly intercompany cash reconciliation + Setting up and processing recurring cost allocations + Using Medvitals accrual tool + Testing SAP Support Packs and Upgrades Soft Skills + Effective communication + Problem-solving + Attention to detail + Ability to work with senior management + Team collaboration + Leadership in committee settings + Providing guidance and disseminating information Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully remote position. Work Environment 100% remote if temporary. If considered for a full-time role, on-site 2 days a week when the role becomes permanent.
