Interim Senior Product Specialist (9 Month FTC)

As an Interim Senior Product Specialist based in London, you will play a critical role in establishing foundational elements of our product function. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will be responsible for evaluating our current product portfolio, analysing market and competitive landscapes, and developing key deliverables such as a consolidated product roadmap, performance metrics, and a robust competitor analysis. Your work will directly shape the strategic direction of our products and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

What will you be doing?

Help to develop a clearly articulated solutions portfolio that aligns market opportunities with customer needs, ensuring clarity and consistency across all product areas.Assist in conducting a comprehensive product portfolio review to evaluate the economic and strategic performance of each product, delivering clearly documented actions and recommendations.Perform a robust competitor analysis, identifying key competitors in each solution area, best-in-class benchmarks, and a comparison of our products on positioning and feature levels.Help to create the first iteration of a consolidated product roadmap, detailing plans for each solution area over the next three quarters.Define a set of product KPIs and metrics in collaboration with the Finance team, and design a clear system and dashboard for tracking and evaluating performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, GTM, Engineering, and Operations) to gather inputs, ensure alignment, and validate recommendations.

Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking.Demonstrated ability to prioritize initiatives and align them with business objectives.Experience defining KPIs and implementing systems for performance monitoring.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Self-starter with a track record of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.

Desirable:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
