Interior Architect/Designer
Job Title: Interior Architect/Designer

Responsibilities:The Designer, while working under general supervision of Project Manager and/or clients provides design support primarily in project administration, concept design, design development and contract documentsWorks with team to develop design ideas, create presentations and construction documentsWill be drafting technical drawings and review Junior Designer's space plans and potential complications to provide supportReviews construction documents to ensure compliance with firm standards, building systems, codes and ADA requirementsWorks with Lead Designer to research and select fixtures and finishes for projectsProduces preliminary concept designs for larger projects, but may develop and finalize conceptual designs for smaller projectsHelps mentor and develop junior level team members on projectsLDevelops/manages design budget and project cost estimates and communicates with Lead Design/PM of potential variancesReviews engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they comply with design solutionsWill conduct client interviews to determine space needs and requirements for projectsMay go on site visits/surveying when needed

Requirements:Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent is requiredMust be accredited in the United StatesNote: Graphic Design and UX/UI backgrounds are NOT applicable6 to 10 years’ of professional, post-graduate experience in corporate interior design projects is requiredPost-graduate experience does not include internship experienceDoes not include experience outside of US standardWorking knowledge of contract documents and procedures, building systems, codes and ADA requirementsProficiency in Revit is required; Enscape is preferredPrevious FF&E, spec, contract administration and space planning experience is requiredAdvanced design skillsMust be local- this is a hybrid/in office role

Salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000 depending on experience
