D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Interior Design Manager. The right candidate will manage the Interior Design Department and its staff, including overseeing the decoration and maintenance of model homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage the Interior Design DepartmentOversee the decoration and maintenance of model homesSupervise Interior DesignersCorrespond with vendors, suppliers, and field personnelKeep office running smoothly and within budgetCoordinate installations and model close-outsNegotiate new vendor contracts as necessaryConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAble to travel overnight

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly managestwo or more employees in the Interior Design Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
