Job Title: Interior Designer

Job Description

The interior designer will work on a renovation of a high-end hotel. The interior designer will work closely with the project managers and principals and will play an integral role in the design documentation phase of the project. This designer should be familiar with writing and working within Spexx. They will be responsible for material selections and FF&E for the project. The firm itself is an internationally known design firm that works on a wide variety of typologies – high-end residential, private houses, multifamily residential, hospitality, retail, cultural spaces, corporate headquarters for select corporate clients, and yachts.

Must Have

5+ years of experience in Hospitality or Hotel projectsExperience with SpexxExperience with Revit, Rhino, Enscape, SketchUp, AutoCAD

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New York, New York.

Work Environment

The firm has 17-20 employees. They are typically in office 5 days a week but offer some remote flexibility. Holidays (14): 1. January - New Year's Day 2. February - President's Day 3. May - Memorial Day 4. June - Juneteenth National Independence Day 5. July - Independence Day 6. September - Labor Day 7. November - Thanksgiving 8. November - The Day After Thanksgiving 9 to 14. December - Tuesday December 24 to Tuesday December 31 (6 days or less depending on the fall days)
