Job Title: Interior Designer Job Description + Develop client presentations for a variety of hospitality clients, local and national brands. + Prepare space plans and preliminary furniture and finish selections. + Prepare construction documents in coordination with a multi-discipline project team of architects, interior designers, and engineers. + Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects. + Perform preliminary code reviews to determine specific local code requirements and project compliance. + Log deliverables (shop drawings, RFI's, addendums, etc.). + Provide first-level QA/QC (self-evaluate own work) to assure the quality and content of both presentation and construction documents appropriate to project delivery standards. + Prepare first-level code review and support the permit submittal processes under the supervision of the Lead Designer. + Conduct field verification of existing conditions. + Create 3D models and conceptual designs. + Select and specify FF&E to ensure compliance with all brand, client, and code requirements. Essential Skills + 5 years of experience in interior design. + Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field. + Experience working on hotel projects. + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Experience with FF&E selections and specifications.
