RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Interior Designer will play a crucial role in the design and execution of workplace projects within a NYC based boutique Architecture & Interior Design firm. They will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to create innovative and functional office spaces. This position involves working on a variety of projects, including commercial spaces and landlord-related work. They need to be able to space plan, pull together material presentations, work on construction documents, and work on FF&E for Workplace projects.
Work Environment:
-You’ll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats. You’ll manage projects from design to construction, negotiate with clients, and directly engage with stakeholders.
-Smaller firms can customize roles based on your strengths and interests.
-You’ll work closely with architects, gaining mentorship and exposure to various aspects of architecture and design.
-Exposure to diverse projects (commercial, retail, landlord work) enhances your portfolio and skill set.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday in office
9:00am-5:30pm
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design
-3-7 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer
-Experience working on Workplace Design/Corporate Interior projects
-Experience with space planning
-Experience meeting with clients
-Proficient in AutoCAD
-Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different internal team members, clients, and external consultants

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00
10 PTO days, 9 holidays, 6 personal days
Medical benefits: Oxford Health Insurance, employee share is 50% of the premium
