A design firm located in Chicago is looking to add an Interior Designer II to their team!

Job Description:

Report to the Design Director in the management of multiple projects with varying schedulesUnderstand commercial finishes and FFE specificationsOversee all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development and productionResolve technical/design issues and provides guidance to teamCoordinate with client, consultants, vendors and design team to develop drawings, details, field notes and produce design development documents On site review for design quality controlPrepare FFE specifications, fixture drawings, custom fabrication, millwork, etc.Utilize SketchUp for front end renderings

Qualifications:

Bachelor and/or Master in Interior Designer or Architecture5+ years of professional experience in a design firmMust have worked on 3-5 restaurant projects at a minimum Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience within SD, DDExperience with FF&E selections

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87/hr.
