Title: Interior Designer I and Interior Designer III
Position Summary:
The Interior Designer III independently executes and guides design and documentation tasks across all project phases. This role specializes in advanced theories and principles, developing and delivering key presentations and project components. It requires flexibility, creativity, and mature judgment to anticipate and solve client needs and design issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Create and participate in client presentations
+ Coordinate timely delivery of designs, plans, and specifications
+ Develop interior design concepts for small/medium projects
+ Incorporate other disciplines (MEP, construction methods, budget) in design
+ Evaluate and select materials; consult with manufacturers
+ Lead FF&E selection and specification
+ Provide design and technical guidance to staff
+ Lead construction administration activities
+ Assist Project Manager with schedules and work plans
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Support project leadership as needed
+ Serve as a mentor and seek mentorship
+ Pursue education/training in performance, project, and client management
+ Contribute to business development efforts
+ Foster relationships in the design community
Minimum Required Education, Experience, and Credentials:
+ Bachelor’s degree in interior design or B.Arch
+ two - five years of experience in a client services firm
+ Professional design portfolio
+ Actively pursuing NCIDQ certification or architecture license
+ Sustainable Building Materials certified
+ LEED GA
Technical Skills and Applied Knowledge:
+ Strong design aptitude
+ Advanced technical skills with Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Designer Pages, Deltek Vision, Microsoft Office Suite
+ Ability to manage digital files and work with Windows OS
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
