Summary
Design, plan and lead refurbishment projects; including furnishings, construction drawings, finish selections, scheduling, moves and cost tracking. Assist with finish selection and all design needs and major remodel projects as needs arise.Job Description
Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records. Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit software for space planning, construction documents, and furniture design as needed. Research interior finishes, including pricing and availability, and create Sanford's finish standards to align with current trends and company standards.
Create and manage finish selections for projects. Compile documentation for plan and finish material presentations, including graphic representations and physical material boards. Manage and maintain material library updates. Works with vendor representatives to schedule visits and share with the team new products and updates. Works alongside leadership on outsourced projects to ensure Sanford's standards are being utilized.
Meets with clients to program the project requirements. Takes accurate as-built measurements for developing floor plans and elevations. Presents design concepts and takes detailed notes to address customer requests. Creates project budgets and maintains up to date documentation. Manages the coordination and logistics of product deliveries and installation. Provides follow-up support with customers. Develops and maintains productive and effective relationships with customer. Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural interior designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements and details as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Knowledge of current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam & Sketchup preferred.Healthcare design experience preferred.
National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certified (NCIDQ) preferred.
