Who we want… (Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience, 7-10 preferred, with a strong portfolio showcasing commercial projects and demonstrating abilities.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape or any software rendering ability highly preferredStrong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, vendors, and team members.Ability to effectively present ideas to clients and team members.Must be physically present in the Lexington office.The new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development. Responsible for the execution of the design intent through interior design documentation, coordination, and collaborating work with other colleagues.Provide programming and space planning including furniture layouts and product quotesDetermine client needs, schedules, and budgetsAssist in material, finish and furnishings selections, recommendations, and specificationsDesign interior details; including flooring, walls, specialty ceilings, specialty lighting, casework, and hardwareCreate sketches and/or presentation boards of all interior selections and furnishingsReview and coordinate furniture layouts with lighting and electrical plansCoordinate fine art and decorative accessoriesPhysical Demands & Work Environment
