About the Role:  

As an Interior Finisher, you'll be responsible for refurbishing aircraft interior equipment and furnishings such as cabinets, card tables, and more. Your work will ensure that our aircraft meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Every day brings new challenges as you work closely with our team, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with manuals, regulations, and customer requests.  

  

Key Responsibilities:  

Refurbish aircraft interior furnishings per work orders or customer requests, including cabinets, tables, and more.  

Document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations.  

Travel for international assignments if required.  

Assist with drop-ins and planned maintenance during slower periods of unplanned work.  

  

What We’re Looking For:  

5+ years of experience in the interiors field (previous experience with wood finishes and soft goods, e.g., auto, RV, boat).  

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.  

Experience in stripping finishes using heat and scraper techniques.  

Skilled in sanding, prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finishing, and touching up defects.  

Ability to mix, match, and apply stains and paints on new veneers.  

Proficiency in spraying polyester base coats and urethane topcoats.  

Experience with aircraft touch-ups.  

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).  

Strong ability to mask and unmask components for finishing processes.  

Basic PC skills for documentation and communication.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $43.00 per hour
