Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.

Job Summary

Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values Coordinates maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all interior and non-medical furniture, fixtures, and equipment within McLeod Health facilities to ensure that finishes and furniture maintain a good appearance and meet required codes and standards. Manages outside vendors who deliver furniture and equipment. Coordinates and schedules interior department moves. Maintains finish and furniture standards per specifications. Leads multidisciplinary teams to uphold project schedules and coordinate opening new buildings and departments. Collaborates with equipment planner to ensure FF&E is purchased on time, within budget, and installed according to project schedule. Ability to manage and communicate complex schedules with individuals across all levels of the organization. Demonstrates an understanding of project budgets and manages FF&E within the budget. Collaborates with architects and design professionals on standards and finishes. Exhibits knowledge of appropriate finish selections and proper maintenance and use of flooring, fabrics, wall finishes, etc. Other duties as assigned. Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations.

 

Qualifications/Training:

In lieu of the degree, ten (10) years of relevant experience that provides the candidate with the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform the functions of the position proficiently will be accepted. At least four (5) years of experience working in hospital or commercial environments.

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

Bachelor’s degree required.
