Your Role
As an Interior Stylist at Gensler, you'll be at the forefront of creating extraordinary environments that inspire and delight. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of talented professionals to craft spaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality, always keeping the human experience at the center of your designs.
At Gensler, the styling team is responsible for collaborating with our interior design teams and clients to develop a specific program of accessories and art to elevate the space and experience in a way that is on brand, thoughtful, and beautiful. You will be a core part of this team helping to define concepts, specify pieces, collaborate with vendors, and perform installation.
What You Will Do
Conduct comprehensive client discovery sessions to deeply understand functional and aesthetic requirements of their spaces
Conceptualize and execute innovative styling solutions that align with client needs and brand perspectives
Develop compelling material palettes, accessories vignettes, and inspiration boards that tell a cohesive design story
Produce sophisticated design presentations using advanced visualization techniques
Utilize various technology and software to bring your creative visions to life
Collaborate with a network of industry experts to source unique materials, accessories, furniture, and fixtures
Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, designers, strategists, contractors, and consultants
Manage project timelines, budgets, and design deliverables with exceptional attention to detail
Ensure design integrity throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to construction
Contribute to Gensler's commitment to sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices into your designs
Your Qualifications
Excellent sense of design and style, and a great passion for understanding how styling elevates an entire experience in our projects
Excellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
5+ years of post-graduate interior design experience
Mastery of design software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Exceptional color sense and passion for pushing design boundaries
Strong visualization skills to effectively communicate design concepts
Demonstrated commitment to sustainable design practices
LEED, WELL, or other relevant certifications are a plus

**The base salary range will be estimated between $88,500 - $110,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
